The architectural firm SEP is designing one of the most ambitious commercial development projects in Latvia in recent years – the creation of the “LIDO House” in Riga. The project will transform part of the historic Riga Radio Engineering Factory building, thus not only preserving the industrial heritage, but also promoting the cleaning of the urban environment with a socially responsible approach. The total area of the LIDO House project is 16,000 m², and it is planned to invest more than 40 million euros in it. As part of the project, SEP architects will completely restore the technical condition of the building and adapt it to the needs of “LIDO” food production, storage and administrative functions.
It is planned that "LIDO House" will be part of a large-scale retail park complex, the total area of which will reach 88,000 m², and investments will reach 100 million euros.
