The biogas plant in Plungė, Lithuania, will use clean chicken manure as raw material in volumes that will reach 40,000 tons per year. The final product is biomethane, which will be injected into the common natural gas network (pressure around 55 bar). In addition, dry fertilizer products will be produced. The project has been developed with future expansion options – for the implementation of liquid fertilizer production technologies, as well as CO2 capture and liquefaction technologies.
