The industrial chicken house facility development project commissioned by LIT EGG UAB consists of two chicken houses with a total area of 17,000 m2, with the capacity to accommodate up to 300,000 birds. Chicken houses are joined by a shared sorting unit. This solution enables high production quality, as well as the fast and efficient collection and packaging of eggs. The facility is equipped with an automated system for feeding the birds, and for collecting their eggs and manure. The high level of automation will not only ensure consistent production of eggs, but will also make it possible to use production waste for biogas and valuable organic fertiliser. The project is designed in compliance with high quality and technical standards ensuring an efficient production process and the welfare of the birds.
